Ames, IA November 2, 2021 — FIA announced that Farmers Risk is one of ten companies chosen to exhibit in the Innovators Pavilion at the FIA’s Futures and Options Expo on November 2-4, 2021 at the Hilton Chicago. The Innovators Pavilion showcases startup companies providing forward-thinking solutions for the futures, options and cleared swaps industry.

Farmers Risk was chosen from a competitive pool of applicants to showcase its new platform designed to help farmers manage their risk. They will be presenting to attendees that include senior executives from brokerage firms, exchanges, trading firms, and service providers.

The Pavilion consists of start-ups chosen by FIA’s selection committee, based on their relevance to the industry and their innovative approach to solving business problems. Farmers Risk will have a booth to introduce their products and services to the FIA community and each start-up will have an opportunity to give a short pitch directly to Expo attendees. At the conclusion of the conference, FIA will announce the winner of the pitch competition based on feedback from our expert judges as well as the winner of the “people’s choice” award based on the number of votes received from Expo attendees.

About Farmers Risk: Farmers Risk was started in early 2021 with one goal in mind: democratize the way farmers manage risk, and give them the tools in order to do so. While Farmers Risk is still in the early phases of business, the team has worked hard to include farmers every step of the way and are aiming to revolutionize the way farmers go about managing their risk. Through their free risk management dashboard, farmers will be able to upload their data and manage their bushels quickly, and easily. In 2022, Farmers Risk will also be launching a new component that will allow farmers to trade directly through the platform.
